As our beliefs state we believe we are a community that is called to show mercy and love to those in our backyard and around the world. We believe this happens in two distinct but similar ways; through mercy and missions.

MERCY

:Matthew 25:40
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
We believe God has called us to show love to others as if we are doing it to the Lord himself. It is the love and grace God showed and shows us that leads us to show mercy to those in need.

Burmese Bible Study:

Currently Burmese refugees are being placed in Nashville. We have partnered with Unity Baptist Church to reach out to the young people in this community to share the gospel with them. Every Saturday we hold a worship service for them at 10am-12pm. We sing praise songs, share a bible story, and run crafts and games. All this is to build a relationship with this community and to minister to them.

Homeless Ministry:
The first Saturday of every month we join Bridge Community Church to serve the homeless of Nashville. We hold this at the Veterans Memorial in downtown Nashville from 9am-10:30am.

MISSIONS

Matthew 28:18-20
18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

We believe God has given the church authority to go and reach the nations.
We support two short term missions every summer.

Yucatan:
Our high school missions have been to Yucatan, Mexico. We have supported a church in the village of Chochola for the past six years. We are currently looking forward to a new mission field for our senior high school.
