Approximately 2,000 years ago, Pilate asked Jesus, “What is the Truth?” a question that still resonates in the soul of every person. We search for the truth because deep inside we know that the truth is what will help to decipher through life. The truth always illuminates. It gives power to those who possess it, and the truth brings freedom. In John 14:6, Jesus claims that He is “the truth”. Therefore, as we grow in the knowledge of God’s truth, we will gain wisdom and power to be what God has called us to be.
